Visual Identity
North & Nest is a boutique hotel in Spain offering luxury with interiors that feel curated and elevated, the brand needed to capture a sense of refinement and discovery. I was approached to explore the balance that speaks to to design lovers and leisure seekers. Central to the identity are subtle cues of home and exclusivity, framed within a system that highlights the hotel’s curated interiors and design-forward details.
The logo was designed to subtly suggest a lock, an emblem of home and exclusivity without being overtly literal. Its geometry balances this while reflecting North & Nest’s curated and carefully designed atmosphere. The interplay of circular and diagonal forms creates a sense of harmony and connection, inviting guests into a space that feels both personal and elevated. Powder blue accents breathe energy into the palette, harmonising with the natural coastal tones and elevating the hotel’s quietly sophisticated, design-conscious identity.
A secondary terracotta colour brings sun-filled warmth akin to basking in the sunshine on a summer day. From signage to interior details, every touchpoint carries the same editorial elegance and sense of considered simplicity. This identity positions North & Nest as a boutique destination for the design-inclined traveller—striking a balance between warmth and sophistication while reinforcing a sense of place and belonging.
